By Public Buses

If you plan to come by public transportation check bus schedules on straeto.is. The bus ticket from the airport can be purchased on board. Additionally, urban bus tickets for Reykjavik area only cost 630 ISK (4.25 Euro) per person, payable through the klappið.is app or with Icelandic cash on board (exact change required). Take the following buses from the airport to reach our houses:

  • Take bus line 55 from bus stop Hringbraut, Keflavik (heading towards Reykjavik) and alight at bus stop Ráðhúsið.

  • Transfer to bus 11 (heading towards Seltjarnarnes) and disembark at bus stop Hæðarbraut.

  • From there, it's just a short walk to the Blue House (Valhusabraut 19) or Grotta Northern Lights Apartment (Valhusabraut 35).

By Airport Shuttle

Opt for an airport shuttle from Keflavik Airport to the Bus Terminal (BSI). The airport shuttle ticket can be purchased here. Upon arrival at BSI, you have two options:

  1. Take a taxi to our houses by dialling +354 588 5522 or +354 766 6671. The fare is approximately 20 euros. 
  2. Take a bus or walk for 15 minutes to bus stop Lækjartorg A, from there you can board bus 11 (heading towards Seltjarnarnes) and disembark at bus stop Hæðarbraut. From there, it's just a short stroll to the Blue House (Valhusabraut 19) or Grotta Northern Lights Apartment (Valhusabraut 35). Remember, payment for the urban bus ticket can be made through the klappið.is app or with Icelandic cash on board (exact change required). All bus schedules can be checked at straeto.is.
