After leaving Reykjavik turn right before the tunnel on Road Number 1 heading to Akureyri, turn right before the tunnel to Road Number 47. Discover the nature of the fjord half way through you find the exit for Glymur Waterfall. Reach the top of the hill and be rewarded with breathtaking views of Glymur Waterfall from the best angle. Listen to the roaring falls and immerse yourself in nature, before driving back through Hvalfjörður fjord. On your drive back take the tunnel.
